LAPD shooting reportedly involving burglary suspect in South LA

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police officers were involved in a shooting reportedly involving a burglary suspect in the South Los Angeles area early Friday morning.

The shooting happened shortly before 5 a.m. near 76th Street and Normandie, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers were responding to a call about a suspect armed with a knife.

It's unclear if anybody was taken to the hospital.
